About

We're all prototypes, always evolving: we try things, fail, get back up and try again, and what feels finished, like success, turns out to be another beginning. This show is about trading perspectives and ideas across emerging tech (including AI/SI), founder stories, audio and visual storytelling, marketing, media, culture and the interesting people shaping it. Some episodes are solo, others are with interesting people. New episodes drop weekly.

Adrian Robison

In music, Adrian played drums in Strata, releasing two albums and going RIAA Gold for the record "Piece by Piece," which was featured on Marvel's The Punisher and EA Sports Madden franchises, as well as the record "Never There," featured on Marvel's Elektra soundtrack. The band had three singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, with “Stay Young” also reaching No. 40 on the Modern Rock chart, landed a placement in the WWE WrestleMania 21 video game, and toured the world playing for thousands of people. He also releases music with Beta State, which has four albums since 2010. Beta State's "Stars" was runner-up for Best Rock Song in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. He co-wrote "Change" with Linkin Park, featured on Linkin Park's LPU XIII, and has opened for Linkin Park and Green Day. His shows include Live 105 BFD at Shoreline Amphitheatre in 2011 and 2015 and Live 105's Not So Silent Night at Oracle Arena in Oakland in 2011.
On the video side, Adrian is a seasoned cinematographer who contributed to Nike's Emmy Award-winning "Dream Crazy," the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy winner for Outstanding Commercial. He has worked in blockchain with clients including Harmony Protocol, Near, Coinbase, Solana, ETHGlobal and TBV, and spoke on the NFT panel at the 2023 IDEAS Boston Web 3.0 Summit at MIT in Cambridge and gave a keynote at the 2023 IDEAS Blockchain Leadership Connect in Los Angeles. He took over #1 global guitar string manufacturer Ernie Ball's "Battle of the Bands" IP for the 2023 season on his blockchain platform DJ3N, with winners opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Marshall Tucker Band (opens in a new tab). He now runs Tiger Mode Media, a full-service video production agency, and 000000andFFFFFF, a web design agency.
Prototype-v1 is a place to share the perspectives Adrian has gained across a varied career, as someone who has taken many ventures from version zero to version one.
